Skeletime® Interface 45 Professional

It is the highly professional and high performance line of the Skeletime system.

There are three models of patented interfaces for sanding that are unique in the world, to be applied to the backing pad of sanders with velcro adhesion.

Internally, the Skeletime concept is incorporated with a self-modelling steel skeleton, which wraps the surfaces and grinds them without undulations, with perfect edges and much more (skeletime benefits).

They are designed for specialized use of electric sanders or specialized use of pneumatic sanders and aimed at EXPERT users in the car repair sector who want to obtain absolute working performance and qualitative perfection from the new Skeletime sanding standard, unique in the world.

The Interface 45 Skeletime Professional movable inserts are divided into two heights and are equipped with a soft hypersensitive sponge for its steel plate, with high-precision sanding results.

  • 12MM: Recommended for pneumatic sanders;
  • 8MM: Recommended for electric sanders.

The patented Interface 45 Professional inserts are divided into three models of use and recognizable by the different color of their internal sponges:

HARD 8MM/12MM

Extremely difficult machining of stucco or other/curvilinear surfaces with the use of abrasives up to P240.

MEDIUM 8MM/12MM

Processing of surfaces coated with primer, paint or other/curvilinear with the use of abrasives beyond P240.

STRONG RIGID 5MM

Extremely difficult jobs in stucco and other that require an increase in stiffness/flat surfaces.

Pneumatic Sander: It is the highly professional and high performance KIT of the Skeletime system, to get the best out of your pneumatic sander.

Accessories

The patented Skeletime® Interface 45 Professional and Interface 45 Semi Prò inserts are equipped with dedicated accessories for its proper functioning where it also includes a special ultra light pad for their use. Suitable for electric or pneumatic sanders.

PAD TOTEM

Backing pad equipped with lateral grooves to facilitate the quick centering and its rapid removal of the Interface 45, or Insert Rubber, which during the latter operation prevents accidental breakage.

KIT ADAPTER

To adapt the PAD TOTEM pad to sanders with non-standard attachment, for example Festol, Rupes, apply the inserts present in the ADAPTER KIT.

INSERT RUBBER

To use the PAD TOTEM pad for common use, or to sand on plastic materials, it is recommended to apply the INSERT RUBBER insert.

INSERT FOAM 5MM

To soften the support of the Skeletime® Interface 45, or raise the sponge and better wrap the curves of the surfaces, when necessary it is recommended to apply the INSERT FOAM 5 MM insert.

INSERT SAVER 1MM

Interchangeable insert to increase the useful life of Skeletime products from their wear.

INSERT CONVERTER 1MM

Interchangeable insert to convert hook-and-loop hook and loop tape to flat, smooth hook and loop tape for micro-abrasives. (Optional in the Kits)

Attention

For optimal performance of the patented Skeletime® Interface 45 Professional and Interface 45 Semi Prò inserts, we recommend sanders with a 5mm orbit, with use at MAX of half turns and give a medium-light pressure.

It should be used smoothly following the profile of the surface to be sanded, mixing large vertical, horizontal and diagonal movements.
