Description

Self-modeling and self-leveling interface for electric sanders. Suitable for sanding basecoat, paints and similar. Recreate perfect shapes and angles.

 

Interchangeable support interface for the abrasive mainly designed for surface grinding and designed for the Bodywork or similar sector, for the solution of all sanding problems.

To be used in conjunction with its dedicated Pad Totem. backing pad.

Self-adapting to curved profiles, it provides a hard but flexible backing for the abrasive with even, constant and cushioned pressure.

It eliminates unwanted waviness and greatly reduces manual work.

It has a specific patented abrasive backing system with an independent steel plate with cushioning function, of the entire System Interface 45

BLUE SPONGE 8MM

  • Suitable for electric sanders only.
  • Thanks to its 8 mm sponge height it adapts adequately to all the radii of curvature present on the surfaces and contains the mechanical vibrations, which are amplified on this tool motorization.
  • It is equipped with a hypersensitive sponge to self-adapt the steel foil and abrasive applied to the surfaces with maximum precision, with results of high working performance and qualitative perfection on the new skeletime sanding standard.

Car bodywork, or other sectors with the same requirements

  • Apply to the surface and operate the tool (must not run idle).
  • For optimum performance, we recommend sanding machines with a 5mm orbit and smooth operation following the contour of the surface to be sanded, mixing wide vertical, horizontal and diagonal movements with medium-light pressure
  • To be used at medium tool speed with Max 6000 RPM
  • To perfect the system, it is recommended to apply it on its dedicated backing pad, Pad Totem
  • To preserve its tear-off adhesive, apply Interface Saver 1mm
  • To flatten its peel-off adhesive and avoid sanding micro-incisions, apply Interface Converter 1mm
  • The Skeletime system uses tear-off adhesives of the highest quality and tenacity. If the product has difficulty detaching from the Pad Totem backing pad, it is necessary to use a squeegee with a handle to insert between the tear-off adhesive and velour and hold the edges of the backing pad tight. Otherwise, the Pad Totem backing pad may be damaged.
